Have a Positive Outlook!

There's a definite connection between living well and healthy and having a positive outlook on life. Remember, when your smiling people around you want to smile too!

Eat Healthy!

Burgers and fries, and other fast food items should be off your menu. Fatty meats such as pork, bacon, ham, salami, ribs and sausage, should also be limited. Low fat dairy products such as cheese, cottage cheese, milk and cream are better
alternatives. Try to limit nuts, sandwich meats, mayonnaise, margarine, butter and sauces. Most of these foods are available in lower fat
versions such as substitute butter, fat free cheeses and low fat mayonnaise so always keep your eyes open for new products that are
healthier for you.

Water, Water, Water!

Drinking water is still one of the simplest and important things to do for your body. Water is essential for virtually every function your body does. An average person needs to drink 8 -8 ounce glasses of water a day to stay hydrated.

Get Your Move On!

Invite a friend to exercise with you today. Try something new and exciting.  If you have never tried a Pilate's class, then today may be a great day to try one out.  Go to a fitness center or exercise at home. It does not matter when or where you
exercise, just exercise. The more people you include in your fitness journey, the more lives you will change and the more motivated you
will be to get a move on!

Avoid Excessive Alcohol Consumption

Drinking in excess can damage your liver and other organs. It is okay to have one glass of wine or one bottle of beer, but as they say, to much of a good thing can turn bad. So try to limit your alcohol consumption.

Reduce Your Stress

Life is full of stress, from work to home, stress is just part of our life. It is how you deal with stress that is important. If you are caught in a situation of high tension, take a deep breath before losing your temper or getting aggravated. Try
avoiding difficult people whenever possible. Take some time for yourself, like relax and read a book, get a message, have lunch with a
close friend. These are all things you can do to limit your stress buildup.

Quit Smoking

Smoking is harmful to your health, bottom line! It causes so many problems in the long run that it just isn't worth it. Think about your body and the outcome you want to achieve. Smoking will only hinder these goals!
